Terms of use

Use the studio responsibly

Effective September 29, 2026

Your content and permissions

Only record, upload, transcribe, download, or share material you own or have permission to use. You keep responsibility for your recordings, transcripts, and exported files.

Unlimited transcription and fair use

Unlimited free transcription means there is no daily generation-count quota or required subscription. You can transcribe and generate SRT or WebVTT subtitles without signing in. To keep this offering available, processing is subject to a fair-use allowance of 100 audio-hours per account or browser and per network each UTC day, resetting at midnight UTC. Files may be up to 200 MB. Upload-rate controls and a shared daily service budget also apply, and transcription may pause when those safeguards are reached. Reserved processing time counts toward fair use, including unsuccessful provider attempts. Sign-in is optional for saving results privately.

Other tools retain their existing limits: YouTube search includes one signed-out trial and up to five daily signed-in searches; browser-only text, recording, waveform, and dubbing tools require sign-in after their trial. Automated bulk processing, resale of the free service, and attempts to evade safeguards are prohibited.

YouTube features

The meme finder uses YouTube API Services. By using it, you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Search results and audiovisual content remain YouTube content. Do not use SceneDub to download, separate, modify, or replace YouTube audio or video.

Prototype availability

This is an early testing version provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability or perfectly accurate transcription. Keep your own copy of anything important.
